Sacred Supervision

Sacred Supervision:

Leading with Skill, Soul and Integrity

Clinical supervision is more than oversight—it is a sacred responsibility.

Supervisors are entrusted with the professional growth, ethical development, and clinical discernment of those who serve vulnerable clients and communities. Sacred Supervision invites clinicians into a deeper, more intentional approach to supervisory leadership—one rooted in presence, clarity, and ethical authority.

This transformative two-day workshop is designed for licensed clinicians who feel called to guide, teach, and mentor other therapists with integrity and care. Through reflective writing, facilitated dialogue, experiential learning, and real-world clinical case vignettes, participants will explore supervision as both a professional role and a relational practice. You will strengthen your supervisory identity while developing concrete, practical skills for effective and ethical supervision across diverse clinical settings.

What You’ll Learn

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Identify and strengthen core clinical and teaching competencies essential to effective supervision
  • Develop advanced listening and attunement skills, recognizing presence as a central supervisory function
  • Explore personal growth edges and supervisory style through structured reflective and creative exercises
  • Clarify the roles, boundaries, and responsibilities of clinical supervision—including what supervision is and is not
  • Apply ethical decision-making frameworks to common and complex supervisory dilemmas
  • Support supervisees in navigating challenging clinical situations while maintaining appropriate scope, boundaries, and accountability

This course emphasizes supervision as a holding container—one that balances support with discernment, encouragement with responsibility, and compassion with clear ethical standards. Participants will leave with increased confidence in their supervisory role and practical strategies for fostering professional development, competence, and accountability in supervisees.
