SUMMARY:Who’s Your Big Mama
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho’s Your Big Mama?\nCrafting Stories of Loving Guidance from\nthe Other Side\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre there voices from your past that still live in your spirit?\n \nA grandmother’s gentle wisdom. A mentor’s steady guidance. A beloved elder whose love continues to shape the way you move through the world.\nEven after loss, these sacred connections often remain with us—through memory, intuition, stories, rituals, and the quiet moments when we feel guided toward healing, strength, or clarity.\nWho’s Your Big Mama? is a heart-centered writing and reflection workshop created to help you reconnect with the wisdom of those who came before you and explore how their love still lives within your journey today.\nTogether, we will honor the people whose care, resilience, prayers, and teachings continue to echo across generations. Through storytelling, journaling, and shared reflection, you’ll be invited to listen more deeply to the voices that have helped shape your life—and discover how their guidance can continue to support you now.\nThis is more than a writing workshop.\nIt is a sacred space for remembering, honoring, grieving, celebrating, and healing.\nIn this workshop, you will:\n\nReflect on the lasting influence of an important guiding figure in your life\nWrite personal stories rooted in memory, love, resilience, and wisdom\nExplore the ways ancestral guidance continues to show up in your everyday life\nDeepen your connection to the spiritual and emotional inheritance you carry\nUse storytelling and journaling as tools for healing, clarity, and transformation\nShare in a compassionate community grounded in reflection and heart-centered listening\n\n\nWho Is This For?\nThis workshop is for anyone longing to reconnect with the wisdom of a beloved elder, ancestor, mentor, or sacred guide—whether they are still physically present or remembered through spirit and story.\nIt is especially meaningful for those navigating grief, transition, healing, identity, family legacy, or a desire to better understand the roots that continue to nourish them.\nNo writing experience is necessary.\nOnly an open heart, a willingness to reflect, and a curiosity about the stories waiting to be remembered.\n\nWhat You’ll Leave With\nYou’ll walk away with more than written reflections.\nYou’ll leave with a deeper connection to the voices that have loved you, guided you, and helped shape who you are becoming.\nCome gather in a space of remembrance, storytelling, healing, and ancestral love—and rediscover the wisdom that still walks beside you.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Dr. Sabrina N’Diaye\nDr. Sabrina N’Diaye is a thought leader in integrating spirituality with psychotherapy. As a therapist, storyteller, and peacebuilder, she blends ancient spiritual practices with the latest scientific research and wisdom to guide others on their healing journeys.\nSabrina holds a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University, where her research focused on the use of guided imagery as a healing tool for African-American women with chronic STIs.
